Non-Elderly/Disabled Vouchers are a special allocation of vouchers designed to assists families with disabilities. The Non-Elderly/Disabled program vouchers are targeted toward persons with disabilities who face difficulties in locating suitable, accessible housing and desire living independently in the private market. Only a family that includes a disabled person and is income eligible may receive a Non-Elderly/Disabled voucher. FMHA administers 20 Non-Elderly/Disabled vouchers for special needs clients. Non-Elderly/Disabled program recipients are selected from the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List.
