Our Value Statement

From our inception in 1980 as the “Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority”, we have strived to put our residents at the forefront of our efforts. It is this dedication to our most important resource – people – that makes what we do so worthwhile and rewarding. We are proud to bridge the gap to affordable housing for families and individuals who need it. We also seek to maintain strong, working relationships with many of our community resources and institutions. We believe that these Community Partnerships are very important in our functioning as a committed member of the greater community. Through it all, our success continues to be based on the dedication of our hard working staff and our residents who continue to embrace a commitment to changing their lives.

The Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority is dedicated to serving low-income families and individuals in Fairfield County to help them obtain suitable and affordable housing. We strive to provide professional services and to promote self-sufficiency in a courteous and respectful atmosphere.

Our Vision

The Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority shall continue to be recognized for creatively seeking ways to expand the availability of affordable housing throughout Fairfield County. Advocating on behalf of low-income, elderly, handicapped, and disabled families, we will continue to strive in our efforts to eliminate homelessness.
